Hi Zach,

Should everyone who is planning to audition send an email to reserve space? Can you provide any more details for those of us (me.) who may have no idea how a DSI audition for a Harold team goes?

Thanks!

EVERYONE SHOULD COME OUT FOR THE AUDITION!

It's no pressure and FUN to do scenes with new people.

IMPROV SLAM requires 301, If you were interested on being on a Harold Team at the theater it requires IMPROV 501 or a commitment to enroll in the next IMPROV 501 class. There are other improv shows we are looking for (DSI HIGH, etc). And our auditions are a good chance for Company Members to see and meet people they may want to form a practice group or CageMatch Team with.

What does it mean to be a Company Member at DSI?

Yeah, one of those people! Here is what happens if you get cast --

What you do:
You commit to a Team for a minimum of 4 months
You pay dues, $50 every two months
You volunteer to staff at the theater, 2x per month
(That is our basic plan, other arrangements are made for more staffing or more dues depending on your preference and ability)

What you get:
FREE coaching / directing
FREE unlimited repeat classes
FREE access to rehearsal space (when available)
Stage opportunity
Company discounts on premium workshops like Eric Hunicutt, Festival, etc.
And lot of other ... Stuff (Holiday parties, etc)
