Default China 35 or the new place, lets slug it out

I think both have major strengths.

New place:
-awesome crab rangoons
- superior general tso

China 35:
- unmatched fried dumplings
- superior sweet and sour shrimp

One is closer to my house. The other one had vomit on it one Christmas when Olivia and her family went to eat there.

I've been to one of them. The other was closed when I wanted to try it.

CeCe,

Please tell me which of these two establishments this vomit incident.

If it happened at the new place, please give me as many details as you can about what specific food station/food items were impacted.

It happened at China 35. The new place hasn't been open during Christmas time yet.

35 once had rats in the restuarant. 3 years ago there Grade for Health was like 90%. Its better now, I like it long time.

China 35:

- amaaaaaaaaazing Malaysian chicken curry
- better egg rolls and dumplings

New place:

- better basically-everything-else
- better variety/selection
- good enough "appetizer" sushi rolls
- stir fry in the evening
- hard ice cream
- Katy will go there
- sweet neon thing in the ceiling

The new place gets my vote.

My vote is too for the new place. Sizzle and I went a few weeks back and I got full without vomiting afterwards. Still, a few of their food items tasted a little off (tapioca soup?). I give it a 7 and 35 Chinese a 5. 35 is good if you stock up on meat on a stick.

35 had a D a few years ago, that's right a D. When I inquired, they blamed it on excessive points off for "undertemperature eggrolls". No that that stops from eating there.

No match for Stir King in Mebane though, which was closed for two weeks (and only two weeks) by the health department for getting caught stealing meat from the neighboring food lion's dumpster.

Personally, i think 35 and the new place are a toss up. 35 gets a slight edge on atmosphere and history. While new place gets the edge for overall selection. I think the other new place out on 15-501 where Golden Corral used to be has better overall food than both of these though.
