Default Out of Bounds Improv Festival Now Taking Submissions

We need submissions. You can download and fill out the application at our web portal: outofboundsimprov.com

Submissions are due April 10, 2007

Performing groups receive:

- Automatic entry in the OoB Miniature Golf Tournament
- A percentage of the box office take from their show (25% for out-of-towners) as well as a portion of the "all shows" passes sold for the fest
- Advance opportunities to sign up for workshops before the public
- Publicity on our web page and press packets
- Access to discounted advertising
- A Free T-Shirt for all troupe members
- A Performer's Pass good for free entry to any two shows
- A discounted Pass Upgrade for entry to all shows
- A discounted rate on nearby hotel accommodations
- A great house of longform-educated audience members
- Pretty sweet parties that will sometimes have free beer

Check out last year's lineup at our archived site: outofboundsimprov.com/index2
There were some real doozies. Some folks liked the city and the budding local prov community so much they decided to move down and become a part of it year round. This festival prides itself on being affordable if not profitable for the groups. Showing our appreciation of your commitment to the artform is paramount.

Austin is amazing. Come have the time of your life at what a lot of performer's say is one of their favorite festivals.

Thanks,

Teaching Submission information on the way soon.

We've got our Workshop Schedule in place.

Check it out here

Soon, you will be able to register online.

Also, if you're planning on coming to the festival, peek the WHJ Memorial Scholarship which awards a FULL RIDE class scholarship and a FULL FESTIVAL SHOWS pass to the person submitting the best new format for improv performance. Check that out here

Thanks and we hope to see you down in Austin for mini-golf and improv over Labor Day Weekend.

Hello All,
The Out of Bounds web site is now equipped to sell tickets to shows and registration for classes. Nearly every show and every workshop sold out last year, so if there's something you'd like to see or learn, get in there now.

A full shows pass for non-performers is $70.
Festival performers can upgrade from their 2 show pass badge to a full show badge for a mere $30.
See the fantastic show schedule here

Registration for a full boat of classes is $100 for 12 hours of instruction.
It's $20 for each 2-hour class or $40 for a 4-hour master class.
See the stellar workshop schedule here

And for a chance to win both the Full Shows pass and the Full Classes pass see about the WHJ Memorial Scholarship here

Thanks,
OOB
