In the spirit of its previous summer productions, The Open Door Theatre presents a new play, KERPOW! by local playwrights Kit FitzSimons and Bryan Cohen. KERPOW! promises all the fun of previous summer shows, but with fewer water guns and more men in tights. When four friends set out to educate their audience about superheroes throughout the ages, they discover their own superpowers, while defeating a villain who'd been hiding in their midst. KERPOW! will be performed at various locations in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Durham from July 16 through August 7.

Join us at one of our various locations - bring a picnic and make an evening of it at Weaver Street or the Amphiteatre in downtown Chapel Hill, or enjoy dinner and/or a cold beverage at an indoor showing.

I have both seen and enjoyed this play.
I encourage everyone else to do the same.
Or else we'll send the Punisher after you!
...okay...or just make you watch the movies. Which is still really, really bad!
