Ho. Lee. Shit.

I am SO there. You have no idea how there I am.

I suppose next you're going to tell me that "Hey Dude" is coming out on DVD, and I'll never have to leave the comfort and safety of when I was 13 ever again. Tell me that. TELL ME THAT.

I adore this show. And Hey Dude. And Pete and Pete.

Scott, I've heard rumors of a Hey Dude DVD set. So start your horse and come along...

Sorry Scott, no Hey Dude DVD's available. But I hope this will suffice http://www.swlink.net/~danichi/heydude/images/logo1.jpg

Ahh, but you see, I'm holding out for Clarissa Explains It All, otherwise known as Melissa Joan Hart's ticket to stardom. The DVD could include any number of unlikely video games!

PS: I've actually seen more shows (and commercials) with the actor who played her dad than with the rest combined.

On DVD baby. Not official releases from Nick, but supposedly of a decent enough quality to be dumped from first gen. video to DVD and to include menus. I'm hoping for the best.

Heyheyheyhey! I said nothing of Melissa Joan Hart's sex appeal or lack thereof. I made a statement about the show, one that implied a favorable reaction to the show, and another about the main actress' career, one that had an underlying sarcastic tone, as should be obvious from "MJH's" current diva status (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0293555/). (Heads. Ryan Locante (http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?p=ryan+locante&ei=UTF-8&fr=fp-tab-img-t&cop=mss&tab=3) wins.)

PS: 'Full House' was the Olsen Twins' (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0305357/) ticket to stardom. Oh, and Bob Saget (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0329028/) too. That doesn't mean I want to do them.

PPS: If at first you don't see them, it's because they're in the full cast lists.

All I want to know is, why did Sam go through all the trouble of climbing a ladder through Clarissa's window if he wasn't going to even TRY to mount her? These are the sorts of gaping plotholes that leave impressionable teenagers confused and angry.

I sure did love that show, though. And Melissa Joan Hart. And I also love the Olsen twins. And while we're at it, Tracey Gold from Growing Pains. And Nicole Eggert from Charles In Charge. And Tiffani-Amber Thiessen. And Holly, one of Barker's Beauties. And... scene.

Sam was the freakin' coolest. That's why he took the freakin' ladder. Plus, it subverted Ferguson's white bread paradigm of a world full of doors.

Yeah this thread is getting creepy. But I too would like to point out the Melissa Joan Hart is a hottie and I would climb through her window any day. Not like a creepy stalker thing, ...okay yeah.

when is this event occurring?

November 12, 2003, 08:26 AM
The date depends on when PT gets the DVD. Katy wants to have it this Saturday, but no DVD=no party. PT says it should be here by Friday.

November 13, 2003, 06:07 PM
It has arrived. Today I received the DVD and it's in great condition. The quality's good, the sound is crisp and everything else is pie. To all who wish to come to the party please let me or Katy know which days you would prefer to have this shin-tig. Hopefully we all can arrange something before Thanksgiving. Just post which days you would prefer and let's go ahead and have an "Awful Waffle" good time!

November 13, 2003, 06:57 PM
after Thanksgiving? not really enough time for a marathon otherwise.

November 13, 2003, 09:42 PM
when PT says tell him or katy, he really means just him. i accept no responsibilty. saturday is still the ideal day for me, but after thanksgiving is okay too.

November 14, 2003, 04:23 PM
When Katy says just me, she really means that she hates Salute Your Shorts and doesn't want anybody to come, but hey, that's just Katy for you! Ohhhhh,

P.S. How are you even old enough to remember this show? Did they have "Nickelodean" in Canada?

November 14, 2003, 05:10 PM
Dude, before Nick Studios in Orlando opened, like half of the Nick lineup was Canadian shows. You Can't Do That On Television was Canadian, there was that really awful Canadian teen soap opera, I think Wild & Crazy Kids was Canadian... there must be others. Marc Summers is a Canadian, isn't he?

And so you see, Canada's role in our television development was key.

this show is '91-92. i was six.

November 15, 2003, 12:47 AM
Okay so I was wrong, I had no idea that it started in Canada. I willingly withdraw the ubove statement. I also understand that at 6 years old you can remember many things, esp this show. So in conclusion I wish to also add, that Canada sucks.

Ohh, Burn.
