I'm looking for 6-10 improvisers to perform a piece i've written for my 20th-Century Music Theory course.

NO MUSIC EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

It's in 4 movements, each is like an improv excercise, mirroring game, or pattern game. (By the way, ideas are welcome).

The class' meeting time is Tues/Thurs. 11AM-12:15PM

The times we can choose from are Thurs 4/15, Tuesday, 4/20, and Thurs 4/22 sometime between 11AM and 12:15PM

Also, we'll need a rehearsal or two beforehand, maybe part of an afternoon of the weekend before the performance (4/10-11 or 4/17-18] or the night before.

Please let me know if you're interested!! Just reply here or email me (dchang@email.unc.edu) It will be a lot of fun, and I'll bring you candy.

Thanks!
Diana

This is awesome. I'm more than likely unable to do it because of work, but is there any way you can tape it?

CANDY! I just paid $5 at the Circus Room for a bunch of candy but free candy is fun, too. I'll do it!

CeCe is so easily seduced.

Oh, also, the class is held in Hill Hall on UNC Campus (It's right behind Cosmic Cantina & Carolina Coffee Shop--about 2 blocks away from LearnNC, Ross! :o )

The piece might sound ok on an audio recording. It'd be even better if it were on video, Eric Drowatzky.

Wow, Diana, that was a subtle hint to Eric! As subtle as me saying, "Hey, Diana, I'd like to lick you."

DO IT!

The licking is in the Adagio section (mm.142-188) of Movement II.
